When crisis hits, Eden Street responds immediately. We provide food, supplies, and essential support to families affected by disasters, reducing suffering and meeting urgent needs with compassion, dignity, and coordination through trusted community partners.
Rehabilitation
Relief is only the beginning. Through rehabilitation, we help families and communities recover stability after crisis—restoring livelihoods, rebuilding confidence, and supporting people as they return to productive, independent lives.
Development
Development is our long-term commitment. We create pathways to sustainable employment, skills training, and literacy—empowering people to thrive. Rooted in faith and partnership, our approach transforms both communities and those who serve them.
Eden Street | Programs
Learning Centre
There are challenges with literacy within the New Green community. Eden Street Development will be creating a technology-driven learning centre that addresses learning gaps and supports adult literacy.
Castor Production & Processing Initiative
This castor-focused initiative taps into the powerful economic benefits of Jamaica’s black castor oil. Launched in 2015, this initiative was created to facilitate economic growth and sustainable community development.
Chicken Farmers Initiative
The Eden Street Chicken Farmers Initiative is a sustainable livelihood project designed to create thriving households in the New Green community of Manchester, Jamaica. By combining training, mentorship, and economic support, this initiative empowers local farmers to earn stable incomes and build long-term financial independence.
